About Me
Hi, I’m Libby.
I started my cooking journey as a pastry chef, learning the ropes of precision and patience early on. A couple of years later, I found myself cooking at Lords of the Manor, a beautiful one Michelin star hotel, – learning from some of the best and working in a fast-paced, inspiring environment.
But at 24, the travel bug bit me. I left England to explore South East Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. Along the way, I discovered a love for the ocean and learned to dive. I managed to combine cooking and diving by working on a sailing and dive boat on the Great Barrier Reef
I went back to Asia to do my Divemaster training and spent a year working as a divemaster in Indonesia. Eventually, as funds dwindled, I needed to find a way to keep travelling, diving, and cooking. That led me to Palma, Majorca, where I began working on superyachts.
Eventually, I returned to Bath and became head chef at Nourish, a plant-based restaurant, which taught me a completely different way of cooking and thinking about food.
Now, with a two-year-old at home and a desire for work that fits around having a child, I’ve started my own cookery school. I love sharing my knowledge, making cooking accessible and fun, and helping people feel confident in the kitchen – whether it’s batch cooking or learning to create something special from scratch.
